It also can depend on how long your hair has been since your last waxing session - the longer it's been since your last waxing session, the more painful it will be.
You should trim before waxing if you are looking for a cleaner look or have very thick hair that may prevent you from seeing where you are waxing (for example underarms). You can still get good results if you don't trim beforehand - just make sure to tell your esthetician so they know ahead of time!
We recommend taking it slow when you're starting—begin with a small area like your underarms, and work up to larger areas as you get used to waxing.
